Garden of Eden here again
Thorny spikes and needles pierce my skin
Enter in my veins like sharpened pins
This garden holds all fears and bears all sins.
O!
Eat of the tree of the divine
Would you still say your master minds?
In the Garden of Eden
Man learned to clothe his skin
There is no original sin
There is no original sin.
Ah!
I till my ghostly garden fine
Uproot the weeds, I tend to my Garden of Eden.
What a fight
Of pain and death and fear but pure delight
You cause such awful pain and horrid strife
But many people find that's just alright.
Have you ever thought it through?
What's your world coming to?
Your face has changed a different hue
Have you shame for all you do?
I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But SPIRAL GURU's cool 70s influenced psychedelic rock even rocks a bit more. Usually this is not my genre, stuf like Spiritual Beggars or the like, but SPIRAL GURU is definitely charming, maybe because of the female vocals. Further the songs are not too psychedelic, they have a solid catchiness. Check "Signs" or "Oracle". H.L.
